Ruling Periods

1.. Y- When both the Main and the Sub ruling period are of a malefic planet.

E- the time indicates the destruction, loss etc of the articles of food, finances, honour, sons and brothers.

N- When these Main and Sub period lords are benefic there is no harm.

2. Second House

Y- During the Main ruling period of a benefic, placed in the second house and the sub ruling period of a benefic lord of the second house.

E- one gets wealth.

E- Then there is also pleasure from speech and the sons.

3. Third House

N- Even if the lord of the 3^rd house denotes good.

E- The native will suffer from fire, weapons or thieves.

Y- If there is the Main ruling period of a malefic lord of the 3^rd house conjoined to a malefic planet and the Sub-period too is of malefic planets.

Y- During the main ruling period of a malefic lord of the 3^rd house.

E- There is trouble from fire, thieves and Government.

N- There is also inertia of mind; but if it is aspected by a benefic planet, there is no such trouble.

Y- During the Main ruling period of the lord of the 3^rd house & the Sub-ruling period of malefic planets.

E- There is loss of brothers & also rift with them.

4. Fourth House

Y- During the Main ruling period of the lord of the 4^th house and the Sub-ruling period of malefic.

E- There is relinquishment of residence & the loss of brothers.

N- Similar results follow during the Sub-periods of planets that are in debilitation, or are eclipsed by the Sun.

5. Fifth House

Y- During the Main period of the lord of the 5^th house, and the Sub-ruling period of malefic.

E- The native gets confusion of intellect and bad food.

N- But, if the Sub-period lord is a benefic, it does not happen.

6. Sixth House

Y- During the Main ruling period of the lord of the 6^th house and the Sub-period of malefic planets.

E- The native suffers from the orders of the government, from thieves or from chronically bad habits as also from diseases like seminal troubles, colic pains, consumption, or bile.

7. Seventh House

Y- During the Dasa of the malefic lord of the 7^th house.

E- There is opposition from wife, or even her death. There is also foreign travel, trouble in the semen and rectum as also the wrath of the Government.

8. Eighth House

Y- During the Main ruling period of the lord of the 8^th house and the Sub-period of Rahu, Mars, or Saturn.

E- There is the loss of Longevity, fame and wealth of self and the destruction of wife, relatives & brothers.

9. Ninth House

Y- During the Main ruling period of the lord of the 9^th house and the Sub-ruling period of Saturn, Mars, Rahu or the Sun.

E- The native suffers in his career, gets opposition from his brothers, travels to a foreign land & has rift with his brothers.

N- If the lord of the 9^th is a benefic; these results are modified in the Sub-period of the benefic.

10. Tenth House

Y- During the Main ruling period of the lord of the 10^th house and the Sub-period of malefic.

E- There is likelihood of getting imprisonment, sorrow, bad dreams, and great mental worry. During this period the native gets defame.

11. Eleventh House

Y- During the Main ruling period of the lord of the 11^th house and the Sub-period of malefic Sun, Mars, Rahu or Saturn.

During the Main ruling period of the lord of the 11^th house and the Sub-period of malefic Sun, Mars, Rahu or Saturn.

E- There is loss of things, paucity of work & income & wrath from the Government.

12. Twefth House

Y- During the Main ruling period of the lord of the 12^th house and the Sub-period of Saturn, Sun or Mars.

E- There is mental grief, consumption, loss of honour and wealth.

Y- During the Sub-period of Rahu.

E- There is trouble from serpent.

N- 1-In case the Sub-period lord is a temporary friend of the planet having its Main period, it gives half the bad results of what it would give, when it is the enemy of the Main Dasa lord.

N-2- During the period, when the Main Dasa lord and the Sub-period lord are located 6^th & 8^th to each other there is relinquishment of office or even death.
