Bhrigu Samhita: Basic Astrology, Part - 23

Continuation…

Dr. Shanker Adawal

Saturn is a karka of service and all matters connected with service had to be delineated by Saturn. Here Saturn is located in Aries whose lord Mars is connected with disputes and quarrels. Along with Saturn is placed Moon which indicates mind and next to it is Venus connected with justice and legal things. As Venus is friendly to Saturn and Venus is well placed in 2nd so it means that native will be responsible for deciding quarrels. As Venus and Mars are inimical so he will be also involved in quarrels. Thus he will be rendering legal aid (Venus) in dispute (Mars) is alright. But with whom does he fight.

He fights with Mars placed in the second house to Saturn. As Mars is conjunct with Venus well placed in Taurus his own house so he will earn well in all these quarrels and feuds he faces in life.

Elopement of Wife

While the native is busy, Moon which is inimical to Saturn moves out. Saturn is debilitated and more inimical to Mars than Moon so not able to move out first. Saturn helps Moon against Mars so Moon having received aid from Saturn (opponent of Mars) in debility moves out and elopes with Venus. Now Saturn in debility, representing a low caste man (because of debilitated Saturn) eloped with Venus (native wife).

The whole story is simple.

Venus and Mars are in Taurus and Venus strong. This combination of Venus and Mars produces a child. So wife produces a child first. Then Moon sitting with a debilitated Saturn (representing Chandalas) favours Moon as compared to Mars. Moon is of course inimical to Saturn but Mars is a greater enemy of his. Saturn does not want that Moon should join bitter enemy Mars so bribes or gives help to Moon to join Venus (a natural friend of Saturn). Thus Venus elopes with Moon. Now Saturn is in debilitation joins Venus in the next house.

One can give another interpretation. Venus and Mars being in conjunction first give the result and so a child. Then comes the results of planets as depositor. Mars is depositor of both Moon and Saturn (debilitated). As Mars is depositor of Moon in next house, so Moon is or can be treated as if in the next house.

Quarrels, decisions and involvement

He will not only be responsible for deciding quarrels but also gets involved in it.

(Saturn with Moon in Aries sign with Venus and Mars in 2nd indicates legal assistance in quarrels or deciding quarrels). He fights with Mars placed in 2nd house to Saturn. As Mars conjunct Venus well placed in Taurus his own house he will also earn well in all these quarrels and feuds he faces in life.

Saturn having enemy Mars and karka for quarrels and dispute, so the source of earning will be out of dispute and as Mars is with Venus so earning by rendering judicial advice. But Mars is inimical in nature and placed along Venus the karka of money in Taurus, so there is good earning out of these disputes.

Legal Aid

He will be rendering legal aid.

As Venus is karka of legal aspect and well placed in the second to Saturn and is also karka of justice, so it renders legal aid.

Earning through disputes

He will also earn well in all these quarrels and feuds he faces in life.

He fights with Mars placed in the second house to Saturn. As Mars conjunct Venus well placed in Taurus in his own house, he will also earn well in all these quarrels and feuds he faces in life.

Venus well placed in 2nd house to Saturn karka of profession indicates good earnings. As Mars is also placed along with Venus which is karka of quarrels and feuds, so earning will be because of Mars i.e. quarrels and feuds he faces in life.
