6. Yamaya Yoga: It is a yoga with a slow linkage. This yoga resembles Nakta yoga with the only difference being that the link between the two non-aspecting planets is provided by an intervening planet which is slower than the two planets. The presence of the link indicates role of an intermediary in fulfillment of a promise. However the link being a slow moving planet, the fulfillment will be with some difficulty/ problems. The quality of Yamaya may be further adversely affected if the intervening linking planet is retrograde, debilitated or combust. If Saturn is one of the two non-aspecting planets, The Yamaya yoga cannot be formed, because there is no planet slower than Saturn. Here again three possibility exists of linkage being through both Ithasala/ Ishrafa, one of each type of yoga. The standard text or the average results are obtained when there is one Ithasala and the other Ishrafa yoga.

In the Chart-8, given above, there is no aspect between 4th lord Mars and 7th lord Moon as the two are located in 6/ 8 position from each other. But Saturn ® as Lagnesh is posited in lagna, between the two and aspect both the planets. The Moon & Mars are both within the individual Deeptamsha of Saturn. Thus a Yamaya yoga is formed. Saturn & Mars are both in their own sign and form Poona Ithasala and with Moon, Saturn forms Ishrafa yoga. The native (lagna) is busy attempting a harmonious relationship between dominant mother (4th lord) and the wife (7th lord). The task remains difficult as Saturn (Lagnesh & planet providing linkage) being retrograde.

7. Manau/ Manahoo Yoga: This yoga negates the Ithasala and causes failure in undertakings, fear from enemies, loss of wealth, involvement in debt/ quarrelos/ litigation. The essential ingredients of the yoga are:

i) Lagnesh and Karyesh are in Ithasala.

ii) A malefic (Mars or Saturn or both) is either conjunct with or is one of the planet forming Ithasala or inimically aspects (except the 10th aspect) the faster moving of the Lagnesh/ Karyesh, from within its individual Deeptamsha.

Mars/ Saturn tends to absorb the radiance of a planet which it conjunct with or inimically aspect. While classical writers have stated that their association with faster moving planet cause harmful effects, some astrologers opines the same results when Mars/ Saturn has similar association with either of the planets in Ithasala, irrespective of their speed. Although Tajika Yogas have not assigned any role to Rahu/ Ketu, some astrologers are of the view that if Rahu/ Ketu are conjunct either of the mutually aspecting planets, same adverse will accrue.

In the above chart, Lagnesh Mercury and 7th lord Jupiter are in Ithasala, but Mars intercept the influence of faster moving Mercury by inimical aspect. Hence the marriage proposal will not be favourably decided. Now take another example chart-2. Here Lagnesh Mars from lagna is in Ithasala with 10th lord Sun in 10th house. Both the planets are very strong in Panchvargiya Bala. Despite mutual inimical aspect (4/10) between the two, native had an extraordinary rise in status. Probably another contributory factor was friendly aspect of exalted Saturn on faster moving planet, Sun.
