Effects of Antra-Dasha with different Planets

DASHA OF THE MOON – MOON
1. When the Moon is in an angle or trine occupying exalted or own sign with good aspects, the native will be happy with wife, children, maternal relations and the native is likely to make fresh gains during the dasha.

2. When the Moon is posited in Capricorn, the native will have a large circle of sons and daughters, income from agriculture, constant travel with consequent ill-health.

3. In Aquarius the Moon produces misery, disease, indebtedness. Incurs the enmity of the rich and influential persons, trouble to wife, children, loss of wealth, disease of the tooth and mouth. This principle need testing with more horoscopes.

4. In Pisces, the Moon causes gain through articles connected with water, extinction of enemies, wisdom and knowledge.

5. The following are the important years when the Moon causes major events when occupies different houses at birth.

When Moon is:-

i) In the 1st house, the native suffers in his 27th year.

ii) In the 2nd house, misery in the same year. i.e. 27th year.

iii) In the 3rd house, gain through relatives in the 5h year.

iv) In the 4th house, worries and difficulties in the 15th year.

v) In the 5th house, birth of children in his 26th year.

vi) In the 6th house, loss of high status and death in the 57th year.

vii) In the 7th house, danger to mother in the 15th year.

viii) In the 8th house, danger to life in the 6th day or year.

ix) In the 9th house, bath in sacred waters in the 20th year.

x) In the 10th house, financial gain in the 43rd year.

xi) In the 11th house, royal favour and gain of live-stocks in the 20th year.

xii) In the 12th house, trouble or danger in the 3rd year.

All these results are, of course, tentative depending upon the degree of Moon’s strength and total Horoscope.

6. If the Moon receives the benefic influence of Mercury, the native will shine as a creative, novelist or author. If having influence of the Sun, the native enters Government service with fat salary without much responsibility or he may become an elected head of local bodies.

7. If the Moon is debilitated occupying 6th, 8th or 12th house with malefic influence, the native has a weak mind, family worries, indebtedness, misunderstanding with mother or maternal relations, journey, danger from water or cold diseases.

8. If the Moon is combined with Rahu or Ketu devoid of good aspects, mental derangement or hysterical tendencies are likely to be caused. The native will be a terrible drunkard, if strongly influenced by Saturn with malefic influences.

9. If the Moon occupies the 2nd or 7th house strongly influenced by death inflicting planets, the native is likely to meet with premature death or suffer from diseases relating to blood and nerves.

DASHA OF THE MOON – MARS
1. Then Mars is in an angle or trine or 11th house both from lagna and Dasanath occupying own or exalted sign, the native is highly energetic and famous as swimmer, navigator having rich and influential brothers and friends, landed property, making enormous profit through scientific agriculture like pump-sets, success in litigation.

2. The native may enter Military service specially in the Naval Department or in Prohibition Police, or in factories engaged in the manufacture of watery substances like soda, scents or in the engineering department connected with river-valley projects or dam construction or as channel overseer, etc. The native may acquire large fortune as Proprietor or Manager of coffee-clubs or hotel.

3. If Mars is debilitated or combust occupying 6th, 8th, 12th, both from Lagna and Dasanath, affliction to brothers, financial straits, danger from enemies, fire, operation, accident, death of friend, mean profession like a server in a hotel or a cook, are the bad results.

4. When Mars is in the 2nd or 7th house with strong Maraka dosha, Mars can cause premature death.

DASHA OF THE MOON – RAHU

1. When Rahu is in an angle or trine occupying own or exalted sign or combined with lagnadhipati, the native enjoys good effects like success in undertaking, favour from young masters, bright business prospects, travel in the direction of South or South-West, help or income from low-caste people, devotional and charitable bent of mind, pilgrimate, etc., at the beginning of the bhukti; and bad results like danger from drowning, poison, snakes, skin diseases, professional setback, etc., for 3 months in the middle-followed by benefic results at the end of bhukti.

2. If Rahu is aspected or combined with Mars with malefic ownership, accidents due to fall or weapons, danger from thieves are likely to happen. When Rahu receives the influence of the 8th house, he may cause arrest or imprisonment, danger from animals. If there is benefic aspect, the native enjoys delicious meals, gain through foreign trade, fame and honour, sexual pleasure etc.

3. If Rahu is in the 6th, 8th or 12th house both from Dasanatha and lagna; financial loss, disease or death or children, disputes and quarrels, immoral acts, trouble through change of place are likely.

4. If Rahu is in the 11th house, he produces happiness, monetary gain to the native, slight tour and disease to the members of the family except the native.

5. When Rahu is in the 2nd or 7th house influenced by death inflicting planets, danger from mortal diseases is to be apprehended.

DASHA OF THE MOON – JUPITER

1. When Jupiter is posited in an angle, trine or 11th house occupying own or exalted sign both from lagna and Dasanath, the native will be highly virtuous with a philosophic and humanitarian outlook. He earns through noble profession like teaching or as Minister of State or as High Court or District Judge or a great yogi highly respected, celebrating or attending happy and auspicious functions either at home or in the family of friends and relations. Some will be famous and lucky. He generally travels towards West.

2. If Jupiter is delibitated or combust posited in 6th, 9th or 12th both from lagna and Dasanath and combined with Rahu or Ketu he produces atheistic tendencies, ex-communication, disease or death of children or parent, poverty, trouble from Government or rich and influential masters, curse of pious souls and divine retribution etc.

3. If Jupiter is in the 2nd or 7th house with strong Maraka dosha, the native suffers from windy diseases or danger to life.

DASHA OF THE MOON – SATURN

1. When Saturn is placed in an angle or trine, little happiness, less gain; obstacle, hatered of relations, slight fever, misery, hard work are the likely results.

2. If Saturn is benefic to ascendant occupying the 3rd, 6th, or 11th house in angle or trine positions from Dasanath, the native gains through mean profession like wine and butchery shop, acquires lands, houses, command over rustics and rowdies.

3. If Saturn receives the benefic influence of the Sun, the native will be a great leader among labourers or kisans (farmers) or a Government official in rural parts. He will have opportunities of tour or travel in the direction of South-West.

4. If Saturn is debilitated in the 6th, 8th or 12th houses with good aspects, he may give slightly good results. If combined with malefics, the native takes to bad habits, keeping low-caste women or doing such other immoral act, disease or death of parents, wife and children, financial strains, exile or failure in agriculture, loss through theft, fine or penalty from Government, disputes and litigation, enmity, etc.

5. If Saturn is in the 2nd or 7th house strongly influenced by death-planets, the native may meet with premature death.

DASHA OF THE MOON – MERCURY

1. When Mercury is in an angle or trine or 11th house occupying own or exalted sign, the native attains educational and academical success by fluke-without much effort.

2. The native will be a great scholar, businessman engaged in Overseas trade, accountant or auditor or astrologer, commanding vehicular and conveyance facilities, amass immense fortune in speculative business like share speculation or as a mediator or conflicting parties. The native’s uncle will be also rich and helpful.

3. If Mercury is debilitated or combust occupying 6th, 8th or 12th both from lagna and Dasanath, the native suffers from bilious complaints, trouble to wife, children, disgrace and dishonour, professional transfer to undesirable places, loss through speculation, like horse race etc.

4. If Mercury is placed in the 2nd or 7th house with strong Maraka dosha, native is likely to apprehend danger to life.

DASHA OF THE MOON – KETU

1. When Ketu is in 3rd, 6th, or 11th house occupying exalted sign with good aspects, gain through agriculturer, black-market, sexual union with widows, royal favour, charitable disposition, domestic happiness are the good results.

2. If Ketu is in an angle or trine combined or aspected by benefics, he causes disputes and quarrels, fever, small-pox etc., at the beginning, followed by happy result at the end of the bhukti.

3. If Ketu is in the 6th, 8th or 12th house from Dasanath or debilitated, obstacles to undertaking, trouble from evil spirits, danger from snakes, disease of the head, tooth, death of grand parents, loss of live-stocks, professional set-back are the bad effects.

DASHA OF THE MOON – VENUS

1. When Venus is placed in an angle or trine, 2nd or 11th house occupying own or exalted sign both from lagna and Dasanath, the native will have beautiful and lucky wife, decent house, fashionable ornaments, vehicles, musical taste, craze for cinema and drama and such other entertainments, gain through banking, purchase or sale of gems etc.

2. If Venus is combined with Dasanatha, the native enjoys comforts and conveniences, liquidation of debts. If he joins Mercury and the Sun in chara (moveable) or sthira (fixed) rasis, the native will celebrate marriage and other happy functions.

3. If Venus is debilitated in 6th, 8th or 12th both from lagna and Dasanath, disease or death of a wife and children, disputes and quarrels through ladies, financial loss through bank-crash, insolvency of debtors, intercourse with female in wrong places and time or sexual abuse are the likely bad effects.

4. If Venus occupies 2nd or 7th house with strong Maraka influence, danger from venereal diseases is likely.

DASHA OF THE MOON – SUN

1. If The Sun is placed in an angle or 11th house in his own or exalted sign, the native regains his lost property, secures Government appointment, attends happy functions, has cordial relationship with friends and relatives, followed by bodily ailments at the end of the bhukti.

2. If the Sun is in the 6th, 8th or 12th house with malefic influence, he may cause mental worries, fever, stomach pain due to extreme heat, trouble or death of father or paternal relations.

3. If the Sun is combined with lagnadhipathi, the native enjoys happy results at first, followed by obstacles and dishonour later.

4. If the Sun is an angle or trine from Dasanath, he blesses the native with Mantra Siddhi, fame and honour. If the Sun is placed in 6th, 8th or 12th from Dasanath, the native may apprehend from fire, theft, Government, etc.

5. If the Sun is in 2nd or 7th strongly influenced by other death afflicting planets, they may give rise to danger in life.

DASHA OF MARS – MARS

1. When Mars is strong and well placed, he will produce only mild results in his own bhukti reserving his excellent effects for other bhuktis. The native may be a devotee of God Subramanya having cordial relationship with his brothers and sisters with opportunities of travel in Southern or South-Western direction.

2. If Mars is posited in 6th, 8th or 12th house, affliction to brothers, ill-health, pressure from creditors and such other malefic results are likely to happen.

3. If he is exalted in amsa with good aspects, favourable results may be expected.

4. If Mars is placed in 2nd or 7th house or strongly influenced by other death-dealing planets, he may produce diseases resulting in death.

DASHA OF MARS – RAHU

1. The sub-period of Rahu in the major period of Mars will generally cause danger from snakes, small-pox, fever, loss or danger through water, poison etc.

2. If Rahu is posited in an angle, trine, 3rd or 11th house with benefic aspect or combined with lagnadhipathi, the native will experience moderate results like pilgrimate or holy baths, generous impulse, intense longing to go out of his native place especially in eastern direction, acquisition of lands, celebration of marriage, mixed with malefic effects like death of relatives in the middle of the bhukti.

3. If Rahu is placed in 6th, 8th or 12th house occupying debilitated or unfriendly sign with malefic aspect or conjunction, the native is likely to face trouble from rude and low-class people, death by drowning or suicide in a well or river, sudden and unexpected loss through theft, litigation, etc.

4. When Rahu is combined with lagnadhipathi or posited in an angle, trine, 3rd or 11th house from Dasanath, the native suffers from vague fears, loss of reputation for the first 6 months followed by good results other parts of the bhukti.

5. If Rahu is placed in 2nd or 7th house or other-wise strongly influenced by death-inflicting planets, he may cause fatal diseases like T.B. and other undiagnosed diseases.

DASHA OF MARS – JUPITER

1. When Jupiter is placed in an angle, trine or 11th house occupying own or exalted sign the native will be a Karmayogi engaged in humanitarian service. He easily attains mantrasiddhi by which he wields miraculous powers like curing dangerous diseases, driving away devils, etc., by charms and talismans. He will be an advisor to kings and chiefs, something like a Minister for land revenue, agriculture or industries.

2. If Jupiter is in Lagna aspected by lagnadhipathi, the native reaps bumper harvest, gain through new masters by change of profession for better prospects, etc.

3. If Jupiter is placed in 6th, 8th or 12th house occupying debilitated or inimical sign with the conjunction of Rahu or Keru, he produces slightly good effects like financial gain or celebration of auspicious function with great difficulty, followed by malefic results like irreligious tendencies, diseases or death of son or brother, enemity from good people, professional transfer or travel to distant and undesirable places especially in northeastern direction.

4. If Jupiter is placed in an angle or trine from Dasanath, the native enjoys royal favour, accumulation of wealth, purchase of lands, celebration of marriage, happiness of father and mother.

5. If Jupiter is placed in 6th, 8th or 12th house Dasanath with other malefic influences, the native is sinful and suffers from secret enemies, mental unrest, bereavement and exile.

6. If Jupiter occupies 2nd or 7th house or influenced strongly by death inflicting planets, the native faces danger to life.

DASHA OF MARS – SATURN

1. When Saturn is benefit to lagna occupying own or exalted house in an angle or trine, the native will be something like village headman, thief of Baghdad, labour or kisan (farmer) leader with command over a gang of rowdies or rusticvs or a rich landlord or an iron merchant or a dealer in black articles like sesame or gingelly oil etc., profit through illegal means like black-market, tax-evasion or through smuggled articles, sexual union with low class women, birth of children, travel towards South or North.

2. If Saturn is debilitated or occupies an inimical sign in 6th, 8th or 12th house, the native suffers from poverty, tedious work, trouble from low-class people, death of wife, children friends or relatives, nasty habits, faces criminal prosecution or gruesome death from accident, murder, disease like mental derangement etc.

3. If Saturn occupies 2nd or 7th house or otherwise strongly influenced by death inflicting planets, the native may meet premature death.

DASHA OF MARS – MERCURY

1. When Mercury is in an angle or trine the native is witty, humorous and talkative, evincing keen interest in technical education like short-hand, computer, typewriting, arts and crafts. He may be a business magnate dealing in mechanical goods or an industrialist in the manufacture of scientific appliances or a journalist like war-correspondents, or war-technician.

2. If Mercury is debilitated or combust occupying 6th, 8th or 12th house, he is likely to cause chest pain, disrespect from relations, suffering to wife, children and financial worries.

3. If Mercury is combined with Dasanath, enemity, fear, exile, dishonour, trouble from Government, failure in examinations, disease or death of maternal uncle are the likely results.

4. If Mercury is posited in an angle or trine from Dasanath occupying own or exalted sign, the native enjoys royal favour, lift in profession, musical entertainment, religious discourages, etc.

5. If Mercury is in 6th, 8th or 12th from Dasanath, he will produce humiliation, failure in litigation, neglect of religious duties, trouble from low class people, pressure of creditors, danger from weapons, disputes and quarrels through angry words etc.

6. If Mercury is in 2nd or 7th house or otherwise strongly influenced by death-inflicting planets, he is likely to cause fatal and dangerous diseases.

DASHA OF MARS – KETU

1. If Ketu is posited in an angle or trine occupying own sign combined with benefics or lagnadhipathi, he produces at the beginning moderate results, like little happiness, slight gain, heavy expenditure, purchase of live-stocks, lands, gain through servants or low class people, service under new master, sexual union with widows followed by malefic results like misunderstanding or quarrel with wife, children at the end of the bhukti.

2. If Ketu is in 6th, 8th or 12th house occupying own or exalted sign, with benefics or lagnadhipathi, he causes good health, wealth, happiness etc. This rule may need verification from various Horoscopes.

3. If Ketu is posited in an angle or trine with malefics, misery, obstacles to undertaking, sudden rise of enemies, trouble through relatives, danger to life, journey to a foreign place where he may have happiness.

4. If Ketu is in the 11th house, he produces slightly good effects at the beginning, followed by mental worries, impediment to work in hand, unpopularity in the middle, again with good results at the end of the bhukti.

5. If Ketu is placed in 6th, 8th or 12th house with malefic influence, disputes, toothache, loss through theft, trouble to brothers, paternal and maternal relations, danger from snakes, poison, wind animals, fell diseases, like white leprosy, loss of wife, trouble from Government are likely to happen.

6. If Ketu is posited in 2nd or 7th house with death inflicting planets, he may cause deadly diseases.

DASHA OF MARS – VENUS

1. When Venus is in an angle, trine, 3rd or 11th house occupying exalted, own or friendly sign with benefic aspect or conjunction, she gives marriage or sexual pleasure with beautiful and passionate ladies, fashionable house, cordial friendship with friends and relatives, travel specially towards West or North, marriage with a girl in the direction of the South, purchase of vehicles, ornaments, dress, sandal, flowers, scents, enjoyment of musical entertainment, cinema, drama, gain through contract or banking business, happy and auspicious functions at home, pilgrimate, holy baths, charitable acts etc.

2. If Venus is posited in 6th, 8th or 12th house both from Dasanath and lagna with malefic influence, she produces domestic disharmony, heavy expenditure, miseries through ladies, female diseases, arrest or imprisonment, loss through theft or accident, mortgage of house or jewels etc.

3. If Venus is in 2nd or 7th house or influenced by other death inflicting planets, he is likely to cause premature death or danger for death.

DASHA OF MARS – SUN

1. If the Sun is placed in an angle or trine occupying own or exaltation sign, he may produce malefic results at first, followed by happy results like royal favour, Government service, travel towards East, philosophical mind in the middle and misery at the end of the bhukti. The native is also likely to meet with loss through theft during travel in foreign countries.

2. If the Sun is benefit to lagna and combined with lagnadhipathi, he will produce monetary gain, rich agricultural yield, purchase of dress and ornaments.

3. If the Sun is posited in an angle or trine position from Dasanatha he promotes little gain but happy functions, acquisition of lands. Government appointment, etc are indicated.

4. If the Sun is in 6th, 8th or 12th house from Dasanath, fear attitude and diseases are the likely results.

DASHA OF MARS – MOON

1. When the moon is posited in an angle, trine or 11th house, occupying own or exalted sign with benefic aspect or conjunction, holy bath, religious and charitable disposition, birth of children celebration of marriage, happiness of mother, brother, delicious meals, possession of livestocks like cows, service in mills and factories, engaged in the manufacture of liquid articles like sugar or soda factory, travel towards north where the native is likely to secure Government appointment, financial and speculative success, digging of wells, etc. These results will be excellent if it is the Full Moon.

2. If the Moon is in debilitated or inimical sign occupying 6th, 8th or 12th house, there may be fear of death, trouble from Government, dwindling of property, loss or damage to livestocks; scarcity of milk, curd, ghee, etc.

3. If the Moon is combined with the lords of the 9th and 10th house with the aspect of Jupiter, the native will acquire land or kingdom, flowers, scents, ornaments, rich dowry through wife, devotion to Gods and saints, doing charity etc.

4. If the Moon is placed in an angle or trine from Dasanath, she causes happiness to father, desire to hear religious discourses, military service, honour and help through relatives.

5. When the Moon is posited in 6th, 8th or 12th house from Dasanatha, danger from water, Government, mental worries through sons and daughters are likely.

6. If the Moon occupies 2nd or 7th house or otherwise influenced by death-inflicting planets, she is likely to cause premature death.

DASHA OF THE RAHU-RAHU

1. The sub-period of Rahu in the major period of Rahu will generally produce financial loss, enmity, disease like indigestion, consumption, profitless journey or professional transfer to undesirable places, affliction to wife and children.

2. If Rahu is combined with Ascendant Lord with benefic influence, the native is likely to tour or travel to different places either on professional duty or private business, pleasure or pilgrim trip.

3. If Rahu is posited in Taurus, Cancer or Virgo with benefic aspect or association, he will promote name and fame, royal or official favour, service in Military or Police Department, acquisition of wealth through foreign service or trades, travel towards West or South-west where the native will enjoy vehicular convenience.

4. If Rahu is aspected by malefic, he may cause trouble or danger to father.

5. When Rahu is placed in 6th, 8th or 12th house with malefic influence, occupying debilitated rasi or amsa, he will cause profitless and tedious journeys, financial strain, fear of theft, imprisonment, enmity, dishonour, death of father, mother, children, or livestocks, trouble from one’s own kith and kin, etc.

6. If Rahu is in 2nd or 7th house strongly influenced by malefics, the native may apprehend premature death, and may have danger from reptiles.

DASHA OF THE RAHU-JUPITER

1. If Jupiter is in an angle, trine or 11th house occupying own or exalted sign or amsa, the native will enjoy the effects of Raja yoga. He will have faith in religion, charitable disposition, company of pious souls, courage in resisting evil, purchase of cows, vehicles, ornaments, journey toward South or South-western direction where he may enter Government service or enjoy official favour, delicious meals, etc.

2. If Jupiter is debilitated or combust occupying 6th, 8th, or 12th house with malefic aspect or association, temptation to commit sin, affliction to wife, and childrern, chest pain, exile are the likely results.

3. If Jupiter is placed in an angle, trine, 11th or 2nd house from Dasanatha, he will promote health, wealth, happiness, purchase of lands, house, birth of famous sons, cordial relationship with friends and relatives, etc.

4. When Jupiter occupies 6th, 8th or 12th house from Dasanatha, he will produce financial loss, official displeasure, trouble from secret enemies, misunderstanding with one and all, professional transfer to undesirable places, disease arising out of indigestion are the likely results during the first half of the bhukti followed by some good results during the second half.

5. If Jupiter is placed in 2nd or 7th houses influenced by inflicting planets, the native may have premature death.
